Sen. Ron Johnson told Newsmax TV on Friday that the Republican tax plan has "plenty of tax cuts for most Americans, but the way most Americans benefit from this tax reform will be the economic growth."
"We're already pretty much at full employment, so once the economy starts heating up, there will be upward pressure on wages — and that will benefit every American," the Wisconsin Republican told "The Joe Pags Show" in an interview.
"There's plenty of things about this that I'm not going to like," he cautioned, "but you stand back and you take a look at what a train wreck our current tax system is, this is going to be so much better.
"I think it's going to be universally accepted.
"This will promote the economic growth that, I believe, will certainly pay for this and then some."

Johnson said that abolishing the Obamacare mandate "is a huge benefit to low- and middle-income Americans."
"That is a tax penalty on people," he told Pags.
"First of all, they've already been priced out of the insurance market.
"They can't afford Obamacare — and, then, to add insult to injury, they get this tax penalty."
