PJ Media's Simon: Things Will Get Worse If GOP Doesn't Win Senate

Monday, 20 October 2014 05:17 PM EDT

The nation faces a gloomy future if Republicans don't retake the Senate next month, according to Roger Simon, CEO of the conservative news website PJ Media.

"It could be worse if the American people don't wake up this November and [Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid has returned. If that actually happens, it's really worse," Simon said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"We're in a crunch time in America. That's what it is. We're going to find out a lot in the next year or two."

Simon said he is alarmed by a New York Times report that President Barack Obama is looking to come up with an arms agreement with Iran in which Congress would have no say.

"If there is an impeachable offense, this to me is unbelievably close to that," Simon said.
