GOP Rep. Peter King blasted FBI Director James Comey's decision clearing Hillary Clinton in the latest examination of emails from her private server, saying it was "not conduct . . . you expect from the chief law enforcement officer" in the nation.
In an interview Monday with "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth on Newsmax TV, the New York lawmaker, a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, said Comey's conclusion on Sunday came without questioning either Huma Abedin — whose shared computer with estranged husband Anthony Weiner contained some 610,000 Clinton emails — or the former secretary of state.

"[I]f it's more of the same, that just to me makes it clearly gross negligence . . . that [Clinton] would allow this type of material to be on Huma Abedin's computer and not knowing or not caring to know that Anthony Weiner was also involved," he said. "That to me definitely should meet the statutory definition of gross negligence."
He also blasted Abedin for saying she'd turned over all of her devices to the FBI.
"Now we know that there was one with 610,000 emails on it that she didn't turn over," he said. "If she did lie, they should be questioning her. Was Hillary Clinton aware of that? Did she discuss this with Hillary Clinton at all?"
"Jim Comey, who I had respect for . . . when he realized there was all this information they had not looked for, or not gotten, and then he makes the announcement nine days ago and then nine days after that he changes it? To me this is not conduct or behavior that you expect from the chief law enforcement officer in the United States."
King also decried an ad from a pro-Clinton PAC that uses a Trump impersonator to express anti-Semitic views.
"Absolutely disgraceful. Absolutely shameful," King said. "What they're trying to do is scare the Jewish community into believing that Donald Trump is anti-Semitic.
"It shows that the Hillary people must be very, very desperate in Florida, or at least this PAC supporting her, is very desperate and very concerned."
