President Donald Trump's tough talk against North Korea is "excellent because now we're dealing from strength," retired U.S. Army Major Gen. Paul Vallely told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"Peace through strength, as we say," Vallely told host Julio Rivera on "The Schnitt Show" in an interview.
"Unlike the past administrations that dealt from weakness in dealing with North Korea, we're actually having a commander-in-chief standing up and really putting it right between their eyes that if you continue to violate these agreements, you continue to threaten your neighbors in that area, you're going to have to pay the price for it — and that's good.
"That's the way to deal with these kind of dictators."

He said that the U.S. can "take down North Korea in about 60 minutes with our conventional and unconventional capability over there."
In addition, with South Korean and Japan forces, along with the Navy's Seventh Fleet and 26,000 U.S. troops at the DMZ, "we are ready to go," Vallely told Rivera.
"We're very prepared to back up what we say."
