Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that Republicans are having a "difficult" time trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Arizona.
When asked about GOP legislators holding a special session to reverse the results in the state, Gosar told "National Report," "It's difficult. We have a number of legislators that really want to move forward with it for accountability, but we have some roadblocks. The majority leader in the Senate, a Republican, and speaker of the House, a Republican, have said that they're not interested in doing that."
He added that they have "upped the pressure by actually requesting Freedom of Information Acts from the county supervisors of Maricopa County, the secretary of state, the legislators, the speaker, the majority leader, the governor, the attorney general, to every official looking at these machines and overseeing the election."
Gosar noted that President Donald Trump's campaign has five days to challenge Arizona's election results, which the state certified on Monday.
