Andy Biggs to Newsmax TV: Enough Evidence for Lawsuit in Arizona

By    |   Tuesday, 01 December 2020 11:14 AM EST

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told Newsmax TV on Tuesday that President Donald Trump's campaign legal team has "evidence to sustain a lawsuit" in the state of Arizona.

Biggs made his comments on "National Report" about the argument presented by Trump's legal team at an event in Arizona on Monday, after the state officially certified Joe Biden as the winner in the 2020 presidential election.

The congressman said that the Trump campaign has "strong" evidence of fraud and said: "I think yesterday, what they showed is that there’s actually evidence to sustain a lawsuit, and if you can sustain a lawsuit then the courts would have to really get involved. And also, they would hopefully order a forensic audit in Arizona, which is what a lot of us have been asking for for several weeks."

He added, "We need a forensic audit because then we would know for certain about those mail-in ballots, which were about 75% of the ballots cast in Arizona."
