House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's top priority is to stop President Donald Trump from being re-elected next year, Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV.
During an appearance on Wednesday's "The Wayne Allyn Root Show," O'Reilly called Pelosi's letter to Trump requesting he postpone the upcoming State of the Union address because of the ongoing government shutdown a "stunt."
"It's another stunt," O'Reilly said. "You have to understand that Nancy Pelosi likes all this. Her main job is to diminish Donald Trump as much as she can so he loses re-election. So whatever the seam is, she's going to try to poke him.
"And she likes the attention, she knows the press isn't gonna scrutinize her. She can basically poke the president about everything."

O'Reilly then noted Trump will deliver the annual speech, which takes place in the House chamber, as scheduled — regardless of what Pelosi or anyone else says.
"Donald Trump's gonna give the State of the Union on Tuesday, Jan. 29. So what? Nancy Pelosi doesn't want it? Don't watch," he said. "I'd tweet if I were Trump, 'Don't watch.' You don't like it, don't watch. That's the end of that story."
