Dick Morris: Obama Has 'Incompetence Written All Over Him'

By    |   Wednesday, 08 Oct 2014 03:04 PM

When Republicans attack President Barack Obama in their campaigns for the upcoming midterm elections, they ought to focus on his incompetence, says veteran political analyst Dick Morris.

"We are so busy attacking him from the right over ideology and issue differences," Morris, author of the new book "Power Grab: Obama's Dangerous Plan for a One Party Nation," told J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV Wednesday.

"If you just look at the issue of competence — incompetence at the VA, incompetence at the Secret Service, incompetence in protecting Benghazi, incompetence in assessing the risk of ISIS, and incompetence in dealings with Russia — you're dealing with a president who has incompetence written all over him," he explained.

"That's beginning to take a toll," he added.

"The GOP can also go after Obama for setting up the situation in Iraq so that we are now involved in a third war in that country.

"The peace candidate has now landed us in Iraq War III," Morris contends.

"This isn't some bombing mission, like [former President Bill] Clinton sent over to enforce sanctions," he explained. "This is a war."

"When we send helicopters that can be shot down easily with stinger missiles, loaded with American GIs, you're talking about a ground war," he said.

"That will become increasingly apparent, and among Obama's base, increasingly unpopular," he added.

At this point, Morris says that he's also very concerned about voter fraud in the upcoming midterm elections.

"What I'm worried about is that you have a massive amount of double voting in this country, massive," he explained.

"In North Carolina, 35,000 people who voted in that state had the same first name, same last name and the same date of birth as someone in another state who voted," he said.

"That's enough to tip North Carolina in the election," he added.

According to Morris there are other issues as well, such as "this strategy of bringing in immigrants on mass, telling the states they can't purge their voter rolls for four years — if somebody doesn't vote or doesn't reply to the postcards, they can't take them off for four years."

As a result, "it means that there are three or four million dead people on the voter rolls and 20 or more million people who've moved and that coupled with the absence of photo ID, and this massive illegal immigrant population enables this kind of voter fraud."

He contends that "Obama's ultimate goal . . . is to replace the Electoral College with the popular vote because he can steal the popular vote."

"He's getting states to say their electors will not vote for whoever carries their state, but whoever wins the national popular vote," Morris claims.

The veteran political analyst explains these issues further in his latest book "Power Grab: Obama's Dangerous Plan for a One Party Nation."
