Rep. Mo Brooks says Hillary Clinton's testimony before the House Committee on Benghazi on Thursday still doesn't answer why Ambassador Christopher Stevens' repeated requests for additional security were ignored, but reveals she was more interested in politics than in protecting Americans.
"We have not been able to get a good answer from Hillary Clinton to that question and any number of other questions," Brooks, an Alabama Republican and member of House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees, said Thursday on
Newsmax TV's "The Steve Malzberg Show."

He said he was impressed by Rep. Jim Jordan's revelation that while Clinton was telling her family and others that terrorists killed Stevens and three other Americans on Sept. 11th 2012, she was insisting to the nation it was a spontaneous action triggered by an anti-Islam video.
"It seems that she was more focused on politics and campaigns than she was on doing her job of secretary of state than she was on protecting American citizens in Benghazi," Brooks said.
"We really ought to be talking about why we were there in the first place. We were in Benghazi because Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama decided to kill Muammar Gaddafi, who had not been a threat to the United States for decades."
"Libya had a fairly peaceful existence, at least as much as you can have in one of them Middle Eastern Muslim countries nowadays.... Out of the blue, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama decide to take out the Libyan government and of course that resulted in the killing of Muammar Gaddafi which in turn resulted in the kind of anarchy and mass killings that are occurring today."
Brooks was critical of reports earlier this week that stated if Clinton is elected president, he is ready to move for her impeachment her first day in office.
"I should be more careful about how the media will make up things or distort things. There was some initial left-wing media that got a hold of my comments and distorted it and said 'well the first thing this Republican's going to do if Hillary Clinton gets elected is file articles of impeachment.' I've never said any such thing," Brooks told Malzberg.
"We were talking about the seriousness of what Hillary Clinton has been doing not about emails, not about email servers. That's the way Hillary Clinton wants it described because that's where they're innocuous but rather about the mishandling of classified documents."
"Whether it be top secret, secret or what have you. There are federal statutes that make it a crime to do what it appears the evidence says Hillary Clinton did.''
