Michael Reagan, the son of former President Ronald Reagan, said Wednesday the November presidential election will hinge on two issues: Guns and terrorism.
"The November election's really simple. You're either anti-gun or anti-Muslim," Reagan told host Miranda Khan during an appearance on
Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Prime.
"It's really that simple. That's the vote coming up in November."

Reagan's remark came after he posted a similar message on Twitter:
The gun debate has heated up in the wake of last weekend's terror attack that claimed the lives of 49 people in Orlando. More than 50 others were wounded.
The shooter, who was killed by police, was
Muslim and legally purchased the guns he used in the attack. During Sunday morning's attack at a gay nightclub, he reportedly posted several pro-Islamic State (ISIS) messages
on his Facebook page.
Reagan also said presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump should ease off the throttle when it comes to making statements "that force his own party to take a stand to not agree with.
"That's one of those self-inflicted wounds on Donald Trump," Reagan added. "He needs to get away from that and not run more toward it to get his base enlivened. The base will not elect him."
