Political commentator Michael Reagan told
Newsmax TV on Tuesday that no matter which Republican won in the California primary next month — "it's not going to go to a conservative or Republican" in November.
"The general is controlled completely by the liberals in Sacramento," Reagan, the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan, told host J.D. Hayworth on "America Votes: 2016" in an interview. "My God, we can't even find someone to run for governor here.
"What you've got is you've got a one-party rule, the state of California. There's no Republicans.
"It doesn't really matter who wins the state of California in the primary, it's not going to go to a conservative or Republican."
