Michael Reagan: More Than Personality Needed to Win in November

Political commentator Michael Reagan Friday dismissed assurances from a Donald Trump campaign manager to Republican Party operatives that he would tone down his style once in the White House — telling Newsmax TV that "it takes more than personality to be elected president of the United States."

"You've got to get the votes," Reagan, the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan, told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth. "When you have 10 million more women who voted in 2012 than men — and 75 percent of women right now are not supportive of Donald Trump."

"You have 85 percent of the Hispanics not supportive of Donald Trump.

"Whether Republicans want to like it or not, they are part of the Republican Party," he said. "If they're not going to show up to vote on Election Day for Donald Trump, it doesn't matter about his personality.

"There may be a plus on one side, but there's a big minus on the other."
