LIGNET analyst Lisa Ruth told Newsmax TV's "America's Forum" on Monday it is "certainly a very positive sign" that Kurdish forces took back the Mosul Dam that had been seized by the militant forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

She also discussed future U.S. military involvement in Iraq, the stepping down of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the current state of the Yazidi refugees on Mount Sinjar, the use of social media by ISIS, and the future of Iraq as a country.
