LIGNET's Lisa Ruth: ISIS Inspires Attacks on Westerners

The apparent killing of an American oil worker in Egypt by jihadists claiming kinship with the Islamic State (ISIS) could foreshadow other ISIS-inspired groups seeking to target Westerners, former CIA analyst Lisa Ruth told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV on Monday.

LIGNET analyst Ruth also said that OPEC's decision to maintain oil production at current levels hurts one member state, Iran, by keeping prices down, and highlights animosity between Shiite-dominated Iran and OPEC's most powerful player, Sunni-dominated Saudi Arabia.
