Activist on Brown Case: 'Other Ways to Apprehend a Suspect'

Michael Brown would be alive today if Ferguson police had followed proper procedures, says Kevin Powell, a political activist and former cast member on MTV's "The Real World.

"It's a human rights issue, to me," Powell said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"In New York City where I'm at, we have the largest police force in the country, [and] there are other ways to apprehend a suspect. We know that there have been many cases of people who have been mass shooters in this country who literally killed people and they still came out alive."
