Don't buy the argument that Bernie Sanders supporters are so disillusioned at the Vermont senator's failed presidential bid that they will vote for presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in protest, former White House Chief of Staff John Sununu tells
Newsmax TV.
"I think that's a myth," Sununu, who served under President George H.W. Bush and was also a governor of New Hampshire, said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show."

"I think the Bernie voters are so much committed to a free lunch socialist society that by the time the campaign has gotten into November they'll know that Donald Trump is not a free lunch candidate."
Sanders is expected to endorse, Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, on Tuesday.
But Sununu added not all of Sanders' supporters will automatically back the former secretary of state.
"I've seen all kinds of polls on that actually. I think 85 percent of them said they would. I'm guessing that she's going to lose about 10-15 percent," Sununu said.
"That's today. Between today and November election is a long, long time. She obviously is going to work hard to try and cultivate them.
"It might even end up being less than that. If we're as Republicans hoping that the Bernie voters are going to save us by not voting, I think we better have a better strategy than that."
