President Barack Obama doesn't have the the constitutional authority to use executive action to bring about immigration reform "just because Congress hasn't given the president the law he wants," says political commentator Jerome Corsi.
"That's a specious argument on behalf of President Obama," Corsi told J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on

"President Obama refuses to do his constitutional duty, which is to enforce the immigration laws we have on the books," he explained.
"If that were done, that would go a long way to indicating the willingness to work with Congress to enact new laws, but instead of that, President Obama's been defiant," he said.
"He has issued a series of executive orders, which essentially have stopped deportations," he added.
Corsi said that his major concern is that "President Obama is going to create a special class of new citizens, privileged citizens built around this whole idea of children."
"The Republicans ought to be worried about the Constitution, ought to be worried about the rule of law, ought to be worried about a president that thinks that because he's got a pen and a cell phone that he can enact law on his own," he explained.
"Are we going to have the Constitution respected with the Senate and the House having to pass legislation that the president obliged under the Constitution, under the oath of office to enforce those laws?" he added.
