There is a simple fix to President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration, attorney Jay Sekulow said, and it's very brief.
"You issue a new executive order, it's one paragraph," Sekulow said during an appearance on Newsmax TV's "The Steve Malzberg Show."
"You specifically exempt out those visa card holders, those green card holders and what happens at that point is it moots out the existing case."

Sekulow added that he's confident an order written that way would be upheld by the Supreme Court, whereas the original order that was shot down by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals this week might not survive the high court's test.
Sekulow, the chief counsel of The American Center for Law & Justice, said scare tactics from the left don't have any substance.
"If you could prevent lightning strikes from killing people, would you try to do it? Of course we would do it," he said. "So, these are false analogies, these are straw men."
