Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a "terrible decision" in allowing Chinese telecom Huawei a limited role in Britain's 5G mobile network, former CIA Director James Woolsey told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"I don't know why the Brits decided to do this," Woolsey told host John Bachman on "Newsmax Now." "They're saving money, they think, but it gives China a great deal of leverage over them."
