The scandals that have swirled around Hillary Clinton should be less worrisome to American voters than the ideas she'd bring to the White House after "running for Obama's third term," according to conservative analyst Richard Viguerie.
The chairman of ConservativeHQ.com tells Newsmax Prime host J.D. Hayworth on
Newsmax TV Friday that though the Benghazi and email scandals are "outrageous… Americans have known for 20 plus years that the Clintons play at the margins in terms of ethics and morality."
"There's a culture of corruption with them, but it's their ideas that should frighten America," he said of both Hillary and former President Bill Clinton.

But Viguerie said the legacy of the administration of Barack Obama is the real problem.
"We need to make sure the American people understand that Hillary's running for Obama's third term," he said. "Do you want a continuation of amnesty for illegal aliens? Do you want out of control spending? Out of control debt? Do you want a culture of corrupt government? Do you want to lose your religious liberties? Do you want a war on coal? Do you want weak national defenses?"
He also cautioned "big government Republicans" could let the race slip away if they stick to "a content-free campaign" because they're "uncomfortable running a campaign on ideas."
Newsmax contributor Larry Elder said it's still "the economy, stupid."
"We ought to be talking about the economy and growth and we haven't had any and she has not said anything at all different from what Obama would've done [and] is doing right now," he said.
If elected, her administration would be "the third term of Obama's economic policies," Elder added.
"This has been
the worst recovery arguably ever and certainly the worst recovery since World War II and she's not offered anything at all that would suggest the outcome would be any different going forward," he said.
