John Sununu, former chief of staff to President George H.W. Bush, says Hillary Clinton's testimony before the House Committee on Benghazi continues the steady build-up of scandal surrounding her presidential campaign.
"It adds to the drip, drip, drip of what's going to come out between now and the election," Sununu said Thursday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on

"With [Vice President Joe] Biden out of the race, she is almost virtually guaranteed the nomination. So Republicans are going to continue the drip, drip, drip on her.
"She's got to figure out how to get credibility back with the American public, two-thirds of whom don't trust what she said. So this just adds to it."
But Sununu, a three-term governor of New Hampshire, added that he doesn't see a bombshell emerging from Thursday's tense session on Capitol Hill.
"It's not going to be earth shattering, there's no smoking gun coming out today but it just adds to her burden," Sununu said.
Clinton was secretary of state when U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.
Sununu said he believes Clinton wants to preserve a political narrative that "nothing was going wrong in that part of the world, that Obama and Clinton had gotten the world under control, and as they were moving into the election."
