Newsday's Henican: 9/11 United Americans in 'Profound Way'

By    |   Thursday, 11 September 2014 02:38 PM EDT

On the 13th anniversary of 9/11, Newsday columnist Ellis Henican told Newsmax TV's "America's Forum" on Thursday how the attacks of that day united Americans in a "very deep and personal and profound way."

He reflected on his experience on the scene in New York City, when terrorists struck the World Trade Center towers, and the different ways that former President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama have handled terrorism.

Henican also gave an update on the investigation into the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, by police officer Darren Wilson, and the protests that continue about the incident.
