President Donald Trump is backing up his stated support for women with important appointments in his administration, political commentator and author Michael Reagan said Monday.
In an interview on "Newsmax Now" on Newsmax TV, Reagan called it "interesting" that Trump is "the man now in the crosshairs of the left" as he comes under scrutiny for allegations of sexual misconduct.

Trump "is appointing more women to important positions in Washington, D.C. in this White House," he said. "[U.S. Ambassador to United Nations] Nikki Haley for one, [counselor to the president] Kellyanne [Conway] for another, and you go right through the list."
"So here's someone who doesn't say, 'hey, I've always supported women.' This is a man who's proven the fact in many cases he's supported women all the way down the line," he said.
He also predicted the sexual misconduct allegations against him won't stand up.
"Donald Trump said it didn't happen," he said. "It's a 'he said, she said.' You may want to believe these women but the fact is it's still a 'he said, she said.' There's no physical evidence, he denies it, and he's not going to step down and say, 'hey, I'm going to turn the reins over to [Vice President] Michael Pence.'"
"[Y]ou can't keep on replaying the same tune and think you're going to get a different answer from Donald Trump," he added.
