Twila Brase: Proposed Law Opens Newborns' DNA to Testing Without Consent

Twila Brase, the president and co-founder of Citizens' Council for Health Freedom, appeared on "America’s Forum" Tuesday to warn about privacy issues with a bill that would provide states with federal money to store and analyze newborn babies' DNA.

"We at Citizens' Council for Health Freedom are concerned about the fact that the states are getting $99.5 million and yet the federal government is not requiring states to get parental consent before they store, use, analyze, or share the DNA and the genetic test results of newborns,” Brase told the Newsmax TV program.
