Political analyst Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Friday that President Donald Trump can still win the presidential election if he “rallies in those swing states” and puts pressure on their legislators.
“The issue for us is: do we take it supinely, or do we take it standing up?” Morris said on “John Bachman Now.” “And that really is up to the president. I felt in his remarks yesterday that he was a little down, a little depressed, a little sad, a little tired.”
He added that if Trump “stays in that state, he’ll just roll over and accept,” defeat, “but if he gets up and rallies the American people to stand up for democracy like only Donald Trump can do, and he gets on … Air Force One and goes around the country and rallies in those swing states, we can overturn this. Because the key is that the legislatures are in charge of this process … and if the legislatures around the country stand up and say, ‘No, we want to investigate this,’ they can turn it around.”
