The endorsement by progressive political action group MoveOn.org of Sen. Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton for president is a stunning blow for the Democratic presidential front-runner and may spell her doom, veteran political analyst Dick Morris tells
Newsmax TV.
"MoveOn.org endorsing Sanders is huge and surprising because it was founded as a pro-[Bill] Clinton effort against impeachment. MoveOn meant move on, don't impeach Clinton," Morris said Tuesday to J.D. Hayworth and Miranda Khan on "Newsmax Prime."

"For that to now flip and be against Hillary is really pretty incredible."
MoveOn.org was founded as a progressive non-profit in response to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton by the U.S. House of Representatives, with the group's leader saying it was time to "move on" from the commander-in-chief's troubles.
Since then it has raised millions of dollars for "progressive" candidates as well as spearheaded petitions on many liberal issues.
Among MoveOn.org's reasons for endorsing Sanders, a Vermont independent, are that he'll "stand up to powerful interests and fight for what's right" and fight "costly, needless, and unwise military escalation that puts our nation's security and values at risk."
Aside from the MoveOn.org snub, Hillary Clinton is also taking a hit from a fall-off of female support, said Morris, former adviser to Bill Clinton and a Newsmax contributor.
"Hillary was defeating Cruz among women by 13 points last month. Now Cruz is defeating Hillary among women by three. Among men, she has gone from 14 behind to 14 behind. No change. No change among men," he said.
"But a 16-point change among women and the same is true for Trump and for [Sen. Marco] Rubio. Women are abandoning Hillary and that's her base."
