Hillary Clinton is going to beat herself — not Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders — because of the various scandals plaguing the Democratic presidential candidate, political strategist Dick Morris told

"Why does Hillary never learn her lesson?" Morris told host Dennis Michael Lynch on "America Votes: 2016." "Why does she keep doing it?"
"Deterrence and punishment is supposed to teach someone not to do it again. And by the same token, getting away scot-free is enough to convince someone to keep doing it again.
"Hillary has gotten away with so much, skated by three grand juries in her career — absolutely Houdini — that she's not afraid of anything and therefore she makes mistakes."

"She lays it out there, and she often gets beat with it. But she's never spent a day in prison or under indictment," Morris said.
"Hillary will continue to make mistakes — and when people say that Trump can't beat her, she can beat her," he added. "And Trump could capitalize on it."
