Fed-up Democrats are now seeing their own rebellion, just like Republicans faced a tea party split, political analyst Dick Morris tells
Newsmax TV.
"The Republican Party grassroots was totally fed up with the way the leadership in Congress was handling them," Morris said Thursday on "Newsmax Now." "They would keep electing a speaker and he would sell out, they would elect a president and he'd appoint a chief justice who would sell out, they'd win a Senate majority and the same thing would happen and then the tea party eventuated."
Now, he said, there's frustration on the left of the Democratic Party that the party leadership is beholden to Wall Street, follows the desires of the big banks and Goldman Sachs and opposes cracking down on Chinese currency manipulation.

That has fueled support for the campaign of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, just as the tea party is backing businessman Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the Republican race, Morris told host John Bachman.
In fact, Morris said, front-runner Hillary Clinton has probably lost Iowa.
"Hillary is going to have a horrible end of January and at least early February," he said.
So far, she has benefited from debates scheduled at times when few people see them, but with one upcoming on a Sunday night she's likely to be hurt, Morris said.
"That's going to be very bad for Hillary because even if she does great, there will be 10 million people or so watching that who've never seen Bernie Sanders before and that will help him a great deal," he said.
