In what seemed impossible just months ago, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont is poised to take down Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton in both the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, veteran political analyst Dick Morris tells
Newsmax TV.
"Bernie Sanders, flat-out I now believe, is going to win Iowa and New Hampshire. He's closed in so significantly," Morris said Monday on "The Hard Line" with Ed Berliner.
"The key element is going to be that this coming Sunday, there's going to be the first Democratic debate in primetime … when there's a large audience.
"People will for the first time really get to know Bernie Sanders. If he uses this debate to articulate all of his regular issues, banks, income and equality, privacy, all of that stuff, he's going to do just fine and he's going to defeat Hillary in the first two."

Morris said Clinton will then win in South Carolina thanks to a substantial African American voting base.
"Blacks [in South Carolina] are sticking with her. Nevada, four days later, is anybody's call. And then we go through this process where it was like Obama-Clinton. One state goes for one, one for the other," he told Berliner.
