Democrat Bernie Sanders is running a strong campaign against Hillary Clinton heading into Tuesday's primary in Wisconsin, contrary to comments from some pundits that his race for the nomination is collapsing, political analyst Dick Morris told
Newsmax TV on Thursday.
"He was 38 [polling points] behind two weeks ago in New York," Morris told "Newsmax Now" host John Bachman. "He's 12 behind now.
"He's ahead in Wisconsin. In the national polling, he's close — within six. If you call that withering, I wonder what you would call reviving."

In comments played at the outset of Berliner's interview with Morris, Commentary magazine writer Noah Rothman said that the Sanders campaign was "withering."
"He's an idiot," the analyst declared. "He says the campaign is withering. Bernie Sanders had $44 million in March.
"Anybody who's looking at the national trends at this point has got to understand that Sanders is coming on very strong," he added. "Just as he went from behind in Wisconsin and in Michigan and ended up winning one and will win the other — you have got to look at him in New York.
"That guy before me said that New York was Hillary Clinton's home state? Are you freaking kidding me? Bernie Sanders grew up in Brooklyn."
