Donald Trump's foreign policy speech was "perhaps a meaningful step forward" — though "I don't agree with everything that he said," Rep. Chris Stewart told
Newsmax TV on Thursday.
"But I agree with some of it," the Utah Republican told "Newsmax Now" host John Bachman. "I was grateful to see that."

In his speech Wednesday in Washington, Trump called for an "America first" policy that would create a stronger nation both financially and militarily.
"This is a dangerous time for us — and America needs a serious leader," Stewart said. "I've had some concerns with some of the statements that Mr. Trump has made in the past.
"It's one thing to change your mind, it's another to go back and try to change history. If you have statements in the past that said, for example, 'I supported the invasion of Iraq' and then claimed now that you didn't.
"That's not changing your mind. That's trying to change history.
"All of us change our mind or our policies," the second-term congressman added. "These are dynamic situations. They don't stay the same. We need to be able to adapt to that.
"I don't criticize someone for changing their mind, but what I hope is we will have a serious discussion about this — and we wouldn't be flippant and we would be thoughtful in the things we say especially in public."
