An African-American college student who heads a pro-Israel group has contacted the FBI after receiving a chilling death threat on YouTube.

University of New Orleans senior Chloé Valdary, founder of Allies of Israel, told "The Steve Malzberg Show on Newsmax TV she was jolted to find a video titled "Pro-Israel Chloé Valdary Murdered" on the site.

Just as strange, the person who created it, appeared to use their real name.

"He's anti-Israel, he's an anti-Zionist. I've seen him put up harmful comments in the past, not threatening, but just things that were against what I was doing and so he put this video up," Valdary said.

"I called the police … and I filed the report – and two days later, this past Saturday, I called the FBI and they said they would send out a local agent to me soon."

The video featured an image of someone in a hospital and other disturbing images, as well as a picture of Valdary.

"There was also a voiceover that basically said, 'I count six shots inward, I count two guns inward.' I've never had anyone make such an obvious death threat," Valdary said.

"When the YouTube video was still up, a lot of people were attacking him verbally and he would attack back and continue to make the same death threats."

Valdary, 21, said this is the most challenging time for Israel she has seen in her lifetime.
"I know it's been worse throughout history, but just the creeping anti-Semitism that continues to grow, especially in Europe," she said.

"And, of course here on college campuses it's becoming more and more prevalent. But at the same time, I do see much more of a fight going on with regards to pro-Israel organizations here in America, which makes me optimistic and we're not going to go down without a fight.

"We definitely intend on fighting back. So that's definitely something that's hopeful."

The New Orleans native is actually Christian, but studied the Jewish Bible and celebrated Jewish holidays as she grew up. She now blogs for the Times of Israel, which describes her as a "rising star of pro-Israel campus activism."

Allies of Israel describes itself as a group that promotes the Jewish state as a "sovereign nation" serving as a haven for Jews all over the globe.

Valdary is also the creator of Declare Your Freedom, a grassroots, student-led, pro-Israel festival.
