That President Joe Biden is not planning to make time to meet the caskets of the three soldiers killed in Jordan over the weekend by an Iranian drone when they are transferred to the U.S. is a "painful thing to hear," Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., told Newsmax on Monday.
"What a painful thing to hear a president of the United States of America be represented by in words," Mast told "Eric Bolling The Balance."
"Not on his schedule. Doesn't have time for it," Mast said, asking rhetorically what Biden needs to be doing that's more important.
Mast then compared it to what White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said about the soldiers, essentially that they were killed fighting on behalf of the Biden administration.
"None of this gives dignity and honor to the people that were killed, the service members, the warriors that were killed because of their sense of duty to this country," Mast said. "I couldn't have more internal rage and feel insulted about what that was, what is being spoken by the… I can't. I don't have words for it."
