The Democratic protests that occurred during Tuesday's Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh were "an orchestrated attempt" to prevent the hearing from taking place and, ultimately, to stop Kavanaugh from getting confirmed, Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV.
O'Reilly presented his talking points on "The Wayne Allyn Root Show" and said the protests were clearly intentional.
"There was an orchestrated attempt to shut down [Tuesday's] hearings by the Democrats on the [Senate Judiciary] Committee, and it was rehearsed," O'Reilly said. "Kamala Harris, the senator from California, starts, and then she passes the baton to [Richard] Blumenthal from Connecticut . . . and they all had their little speeches.
"In conjunction with that, there were far-left kooks screaming in the audience inside the chamber. . . . This was a plan."

O'Reilly said the tactic was designed to stop Kavanaugh from getting confirmed to the nation's highest court, which has a vacancy after Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy retired this summer.
"This is just bogus," O'Reilly said. "Everybody knows why they wanted to delay the hearing. Because they don't want to have the vote before the midterm election. 'So, we'll put off everything until the Democrats have a chance to take the House and take the Senate so that Kavanaugh could never get confirmed.' Why don't they just say that?"
