The Biden administration has its own "narrative" when it comes to the escalating regional war in the Middle East, retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt told Newsmax.
Speaking to "American Agenda" on Tuesday regarding National Security Council spokesman John Kirby's comments about expecting Houthi rebels to commence retaliatory strikes out of Yemen toward the Red Sea, Holt says, "It's creating an unsafe situation for our own national security here at home because we refuse to underscore that Iran is the progenitor of all of this."
You know, Iran last night hit Iraq. They thought they hit a headquarters of a Mossad unit. Why is it OK for Iran to be firing ordinance so close to our forces and our consulate?" Holt adds. "Look, John Kirby is just pushing away the truth, and they've got their own narrative, but it's militarily insufficient, strategically insufficient, and it imperils us here at home with millions of fighting-age men, including Hezbollah, that we can't see."
