Friday, 15 August 2014 12:37 PM EDT

Ret. Sergeant First Class Norm Hooten, Delta Force operator and team leader of the Battle of Mogadishu, also known as the Black Hawk Down military operation, joined J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV on Friday to discuss the special operation in which 18 Americans were killed almost 21 years ago.

Hooten described what went wrong, what the U.S. military has learned from the failed mission, and how that has changed present day special ops missions.
