Special counsel Robert Mueller ought to provide an update on the Russia investigation through a congressional hearing, Bill O'Reilly said on Newsmax TV.
With the investigation more than 15 months old and with no end in sight, O'Reilly thinks it's time to see what Mueller has because talk of the probe and speculation about Russia and the Trump campaign continue to dominate the news.

"It is distressing to me as an American, not as a news commentator … that a lot of this stuff is bogus. We want to get to the truth. Donald Trump did something with Russia that influenced the election? Let's get it," O'Reilly said.
"Let's have Robert Mueller give everybody an update through Congress. Let's have him come in and say, here's where we are. Let's see it."
O'Reilly said the repeated attacks on Trump that are based on unproven allegations are just plain wrong.
"But to try to destroy a sitting president because you don't like him on charges that haven't been proven, to try to parade out a series of controversies — create them — is really wrong. It's wrong for the country, it's morally wrong, and it's certainly hurting every American," he said.
"It's almost a miracle that the economy's doing so well in the face of all this chaos. A lot of people are shrugging this stuff off, a lot of people have tuned it out, I understand that. But it's gonna get worse."
