The indictment of Texas Gov.
Rick Perry for abuse of power and coercion "has nothing to do with legitimate charges," says Politichicks co-host Ann-Marie Murrell.
"This is the left planting the word 'indictment' on a very important person," Murrell told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on
Newsmax TV. "That's all this is for."
"Unfortunately, for a lot of the uninformed people of America, that's all they are going to see," she explained. "They are going to see 'indicted.'"

Murrell's co-host Morgan Brittany told the "MidPoint" host that she believes Perry is being attacked because of the strong stance he has taken on the border crisis.
"He was very strong and very determined on the border situation," Brittany said.
"He made a decision to send the National Guard. He took control over the federal government, and he said, 'I'm going to do what I have to do for my people in Texas.'
"That opened the door for the Democrats to say, 'we want to turn Texas blue,'" she said.
"Well, what are they doing?" Brittany asked. "They're undermining the governor, they're making him look like he's a criminal, and this is what their M.O. is — it's to create chaos and no other reason, but because Rick Perry stands up and does something for his state, they're going to try to take him down."
