President Barack Obama's taunt to Republicans — "So sue me" — may indicate he's lost interest in the job of commander-in-chief, according to A.B. Stoddard, associate editor of The Hill.
"'So sue me' is really unpresidential and starts to sound like he's not just fed up with the Congress, but he's just sort [fed]-up with being president and being presidential,'' Stoddard told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.
"Part of the burden of being president is that you always have to be presidential. Every time you talk about anything you need to use measured, mature tone and choices of words.''
Obama made the comment in response to protests by GOP lawmakers — and a threatened lawsuit by House Speaker John Boehner — that he's overstepping his authority in the use of executive power.
