Two West Hollywood City Council members want President Donald Trump's star off of Hollywood's Walk of Fame "due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country," and a vote Monday night could start the process, ABC-7 News reports.

The council must first vote on a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to permanently remove the star, which was unveiled in 2007.

Trump's star has already been vandalized several times and destroyed twice.

"The City Council will consider adopting a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Donald J. Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country," reads the agenda item for Monday's meeting.

"This is an opportunity for decision-makers to take a stand on their values in support of women," the Council's report reads. "Allowing Mr. Trump to continue to have a star in light of his behavior toward women, particularly in the #timesup and #metoo movements, should not be acceptable in the Hollywood and entertainment industry communities."

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awards the stars. The likelihood of Trump's star being removed is slim, since the Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark and, "once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame," Leron Gubler, president and chief executive of the chamber, said in 2015 when activists called for the removal of actor Bill Cosby's star.
