US Military Sends Video Message to ISIS

US Military Sends Video Message to ISIS

The Washington Examiner

By    |   Tuesday, 06 September 2016 02:48 PM EDT

The United States military has a message for the Islamic State: we'll find you.

In a new video that's clearly meant to taunt the enemy, a military coalition airstrike destroys a vehicle traveling on a road in Qayyarah, a northern Iraq city just over an hour south of Mosul.

After the vehicle explodes in a ball of fire and veers off the road, a graphic at the bottom of the screen reads: "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE."

A full-screen graphic that signifies the coalition appears at the end, with the words, "ONE MISSION, MANY NATIONS."

The Washington Examiner reported on the video's existence.

The video comes a month after a House panel claimed the U.S. Military's Central Command doctored reports in 2014 and 2015 that showed ISIS was not rising as fast in Iraq and Syria than it actually was.

Last week, U.S. and coalition forces struck ISIS targets in Syria.
