Donald Trump
bashed The New York Times Saturday for a report published on Friday attacking the presumptive Republican nominee's management style and allegations of turmoil within the campaign.
Here's what he said on Twitter:
In the report, the Times said that it had interviewed "nearly a dozen Republicans inside and outside of the operation" in detailing the difficulties inside Trump's campaign.
It also reported that campaign staffers have told associates that they believe that their offices at Trump Tower in Manhattan may be bugged.
The Times attributed the information to "three people briefed on the conversations," offering no further information.
The report came as the businessman received enough delegates to win the Republican presidential nomination and as the campaign announced that Rick Wiley, a longtime GOP operative, had been fired.
Wiley apparently clashed with campaign officials in three states, according to the Times.
Trump declined to be interviewed for the report — saying in a statement that the Times reporters "wouldn’t know how to write a good story about me if you tried — dream on."
