Study Names Top 12 Most-Heavily Surveilled Cities in America

Stroll through almost any major American city these days and you'll probably feel like you're being watched -- because you are.

Facial recognition is increasingly common, and even many gated communities are now employing the same license-plate readers that police use, to track who’s coming in and out of local neighborhoods.
