Special counsel Robert Mueller's team has allegedly collected a mysterious "nude selfie" during its Russia investigation.
The surprising claim was contained in a court filing Thursday from Concord Management and Consulting — an alleged Russian troll farm charged with conspiring against the United States by using fake social media personas to wield division and "sow discord" during the 2016 election.
It was not clear where the alleged nude pic came from, or who took it.
The company's lawyer, Eric Dubelier, referred to the claim while criticizing Mueller's tight hold on information in the Russia probe.
"Could the manner in which he collected a nude selfie really threaten the national security of the United States?" Dubelier wrote in the memo, the New York Post reported.
He argued Mueller has restricted the company from viewing sensitive documents and "now seeks to completely obliterate any remaining rights of Concord to defend itself," the Post reported.
