NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal shocked a first grade class in McDonough, Georgia, as their teacher conducted class via video chat due to the coronavirus.

O’Neal popped in on FaceTime to say hello as the teacher began her video lesson, according to TMZ.

The celebrity news website reported O’Neal is a family friend of a student at East Lake Elementary School.

O’Neal said hello to the teacher, who said: “Is that Shaq?”

As students began recognizing him, they and their parents grabbed phones to take pictures of the surprise visitor.

O’Neal reportedly stayed on the video chat for a few minutes and said hello to everyone who was on.

“It was really cool,” one parent told TMZ.
