No election outcomes were altered because of Russian interference, but Democrats won't let go of their "collusion and obstruction narrative" and it's time to push back, radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Monday.
"There is polling data out there, it shows that 42% of the American people believe that the Russians tampered with voting machines, that they actually altered votes," Limbaugh told Fox News' "Fox and Friends."
"They didn't. There was none, there was no collusion any more than there always is."
Russians, he added, are always trying to infiltrate America, and "they have been since I have been alive, not just the Russians but the Chi-coms, the North Koreans, the Cubans. We're constantly under this kind of attack."
Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee reported on Friday that while Russian interference was "unprecedented," not a "single vote was changed, " said Limbaugh, "so what are we talking about? If nothing happened, then why this big hullaballoo?"
He also noted that three weeks before the 2016 election, then-President Barack Obama said there was "no serious person" who would think America's elections could be rigged.
That was because Democrats didn't want anything tainting the election of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Limbaugh maintained.
"The point is, Obama was telling the truth," he added. "The Russians still haven't managed to change a vote or alter the outcome of an election. It still hasn't happened."
But Democrats want to get Trump out of office, said Limbaugh, and he thinks that's because they live in a "delusional hatred" over not being able to defeat him in 2016.
