President Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani on Wednesday lambasted Hillary Clinton for her claims that anyone else but the president would have been indicted for charges of obstruction, saying if anyone should have faced criminal charges, it should have been her.
"There is a woman who really obstructed justice," Giuliani told Fox News' "Fox & Friends." "The president didn't delete 33,000 emails. He didn't have somebody smash up telephones. And he didn't have someone wipe out a server and BleachBit it, among the few things that she did. The president was innocent of the underlying crime."
In addition, if there was no collusion, then other findings in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation are "an effort for him to defend himself," Giuliani said.
"If I tell somebody that 'I'm innocent, please testify on my behalf and say what happened,' am I obstructing justice, or am I defending myself and serving justice?" Giuliani said.
How the investigations got started in the first place is the next investigation, he added, warning Clinton "better get a lawyer."
Giuliani said he does not doubt Attorney General William Barr will follow up on the investigation because he believes in justice.
"If this can be done to the president of the United States, a frame-up like this, believe me, this wasn't by accident," Giuliani said.
