Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says that elementary school helped prepare her for dealing with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I have had my personal experiences with him," Clinton said while speaking in San Francisco at Marketeo's Marketing Nation Summit, when asked about his recent actions in Crimea. "He's a fascinating guy. Obviously he is determined."
The potential presidential candidate said that she found him hard to deal with during her tenure as secretary of state,
ABC News reported.
"He is very difficult to read personally," she explained. "He is always looking for an advantage. So he will try to put you ill at ease. He will even throw an insult your way. He will look bored and dismissive. He'll do all of that."
However, she said that she was well prepared for him.
"I have a lot of experience with people acting like that," she added. "Go back to elementary school. I've seen all of that, so I'm not impressed by it."
In early March, Clinton compared
Putin's moves in Ukraine "with early actions by Nazi Germany before Hitler began invading neighboring countries."
