Former President Donald Trump has a 4-point advantage over President Joe Biden in Pennsylvania, according to a poll released Tuesday by The Hill.
Trump received 49% of support and Biden received 45%. When voters older than 50 are polled, the former president's lead grows to 52%, while Biden's drops to 42%.
However, Biden took the lead among voters ages 18-49, garnering 48% support among that demographic to Trump's 45%.
Adding in Green Party and Libertarian Party candidates, Trump pulls ahead of Biden by 5 points.
In that scenario, Trump received 46%, Biden received 41%, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who previously ran for president in 2016, received 5%.
Late last month, polls from Emerson College Polling/The Hill found Trump overtaking Biden in seven battleground states.
According to those state-specific surveys, Trump holds a narrow advantage — albeit largely within the margins of error — over Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
In North Carolina, Trump is up about 5 points at about 47% support to Biden's 42%. In Arizona, Trump is up 4 points at 48% to 44%.
Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, is leading by 3 points in Georgia, claiming 47% to Biden's 44%, and by 2 points in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where he pulls 47% to Biden's 45% in each.
Trump also ekes out a 1-point advantage in Michigan and Nevada, at 45% to Biden's 44% in each, according to the poll.
The RealClearPolitics national polling average shows a tight race between both major party candidates, with Trump sitting at 46.1% support and Biden at 44.9% with six months to go before the election.
The poll was conducted April 24-30 and surveyed 1,398 Pennsylvania voters. It has a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
