Netflix has partnered with a dispensary in California to create marijuana strains based on 10 of its original series, including “Orange is the New Black” and “Arrested Development.”
The set is available at a pop-up event in West Hollywood through Sunday at Alternative Herbal Health Services to legal medical marijuana card-holding customers.
“Each strain was cultivated with the specific shows in mind, designed to complement each title based on their tone,” a press release read. “For example, sillier shows may be more indica dominant, while dramedies will be more sativa dominant to help the more powerful scenes resonate.”
The “Netflix Collection” features Banana Stand Kush to accommodate “Arrested Development,” Camp Firewood to pair with “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later,” and Poussey Riot for “Orange is the New Black.”
Netflix won’t profit from the sale of the “Netflix Collection” due to federal law.
